If the AP Top 25 preseason poll is any indication, the SEC and Big Ten should dominate the college football world when the season kicks off at the end of August.
Each conference, both of which expanded in the offseason, has four teams in the top 10 of the preseason rankings, which were released Monday afternoon.
Georgia once again is at the top of the list for the second straight year, representing the SEC, while Ohio State of the Big Ten is second. The Bulldogs, who won consecutive national championships in 2021 and 2022, received 46 first-place votes and 1,532 points, which outpaced the Buckeyesâ 15 first-place votes and 1,490 points.

Oregon, which joined the Big Ten in the offseason, was the only other program to receive any first-place votes (one). The Ducks will kick off the season ranked No. 3.

Of course, things can â and will â change between now and December. But what are the odds of each team ranked in the preseason Top 25 poll to win the national championship?
