MONTANA – A few showers and thunderstorms developed in a few parts of Montana. These should end this evening. Temperatures were at or below normal in the 70s and 80s. Winds ranged from 5 to 15 mph with outflow from thunderstorms bringing gusts up to 30 mph.
Skies will be clear across eastern Montana tonight with partly cloudy skies elsewhere and the showers will end early. A moist southwest flow will bring an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday and especially Tuesday when some could be strong.
Temperatures will be near normal, give or take a few degrees, all week. Areas of smoke continuing, mainly in the west. Lows tonight in the upper 40s and 50s with highs tomorrow in the 80s to around 90. Similar temperatures the rest of the week with some indications of hot weather returning next week.
