Kansas City Chiefs right tackle Jawaan Taylor had to leave Wednesday’s practice early due to a shoulder injury, but the team is not too worried, according to ESPN. The extent of Taylor’s injury and his recovery timeline are still uncertain. Lucas Niang filled in for Taylor for the rest of practice. Taylor, aged 26, played in every game for the Chiefs in 2023 and contributed to their Super Bowl win. He joined the Chiefs on a four-year, $80 million deal in free agency in March 2023. Since being drafted in the second round by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019, Taylor has not missed a game, starting all 83 games he’s played in his pro career. –Field Level Media
