DoorDash has announced that it will now provide its first-ever streaming benefit for members of its premium service. The company, known for its popular delivery app, stated that DashPass members can now access Max’s “With Ads”-tier service.
The partnership with the streaming platform’s owner, Warner Bros. Discovery, will offer a library of beloved TV shows from leading brands like HBO, Warner Bros., A24, Adult Swim, ID, and the DC Universe. Users should have access to these streaming offerings by Tuesday, as stated by the company.

Currently, Max streaming customers pay $9.99 per month for the tier with advertisements, or $99.99 per year, which is a 16% discount compared to paying monthly. The ad-free option in the next tier is priced at $16.00 per month.
DoorDash claims that its premium offerings are valued at around $240 per year, factoring in the discount on delivery fees for food and other services for its members. However, customers only pay $96 per year for the service.

If customers want an ad-free experience on Max streaming, DoorDash offers this option at an additional $10.99 per month charge.
Other delivery apps have varying offerings, with some, as CNET reported last year, providing more benefits based on how frequently customers use the platforms for orders, including groceries and restaurant deliveries.
Some platforms allow access to their premium tiers through other memberships, such as Amazon Prime, which permits Grubhub users to benefit from “Grubhub+” and save on delivery fees.
