Usher has delayed more dates for his highly anticipated “Past Present Future” tour — this time pushing back the opening night show and at least three other dates due to a serious neck injury sustained during rehearsals.
In a recent statement shared on social media, Usher informed fans that the injury occurred earlier this week.

He explained, “My initial hope was to recover from the injury with physical therapy and medical treatment in time for the opening night.” However, he has not made enough progress to proceed with that date.
Usher mentioned that his medical team advised against performing any shows this week, but he has been cleared to resume the tour by August 20th, when he is set to perform in Washington, D.C.
“I deeply appreciate my fans and thank you for understanding that my priority is to fully heal from this injury in order to deliver the top-notch performance you expect from an USHER show. I will be back on stage in your city very soon,” the statement expressed.

Several initial dates, originally planned for Atlanta, have been rescheduled for December 9th, 10th, and 12th.
The tour initially included 24 North American dates, with additional shows added in North America before relaunching in Europe in 2025.
