The Missoula PaddleHeads have hit a rough patch.
Zootown’s pro baseball team lost for the fourth time in six games Friday, dropping a 12-6 decision to the Great Falls Voyagers at Ogren-Allegiance Park. Missoula saw its Pioneer League-best record fall to 55-20.
The Voyagers, who have the worst record in the 12-team league at 26-49, took advantage of four errors by the hosts. Nate Madej earned the win, allowing three runs on six hits with five strikeouts in five innings.
Great Falls jumped to a 4-2 lead in the first four innings and then exploded for six runs in the sixth. Colorado native Jonah Jenkins took the loss, allowing four runs on seven hits in the first 3 2/3 frames.
Both teams collected 11 hits. Collin Runge and Kamron Willman collected a home run for the PaddleHeads. Runge, Willman, and Alec Sanchez shared team-high honors with two hits apiece.

Missoula slugger Adam Fogel failed to set a new league record for home runs in a single season, going 1 for 4 with a single. He currently shares the record (32) with former PaddleHeads first baseman Jayson Newman.
Missoula will host Great Falls in a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. Saturday night. The teams will wrap up their series Sunday afternoon.
