When a Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress in Montana feels funding a campaign in our state is meaningless, it disenfranchises voters and undermines the democratic process.
On Aug. 14, I officially filed a write-in campaign for Reilly Neill as a candidate in Montana’s Second Congressional District.
Voters deserve a choice on the ballot, someone fighting for them. They deserve a Democrat on the ballot elevating important issues and supporting a robust democracy.
Montana feeds the world. Our communities and our economy depend on water and agriculture. I will be a champion for Montana stakeholders on these issues in Congress.
As a former State Representative, member of the Water Policy Interim Committee and longtime newspaper publisher, I will work effectively in Congress, from advocating for the St. Mary and Milk River projects to ensuring every citizen has access to rural healthcare and public schools.
