The Minnesota Vikings officially signed Stephon Gilmore, a five-time Pro Bowl cornerback, on Monday along with other roster moves. While the terms of the deal were not disclosed by the Vikings, reports suggest it is worth $10 million, with $7 million guaranteed. Additionally, the team also confirmed the signing of undrafted wide receiver Justin Hall for the 2022 season. As part of these changes, punter Seth Vernon and receiver Ty James were waived. Gilmore, who recently visited the Vikings, will turn 34 on Sept. 19. He has had a successful career with 31 interceptions, 561 tackles, 7 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries in 165 games for various teams. The Vikings required reinforcements in their secondary after Mekhi Blackmon’s injury during training camp. Justin Hall, formerly with the Las Vegas Raiders, has experience playing for the UFL’s Houston Roughnecks and the USFL’s Houston Gamblers. – Field Level Media
