The top 50 in FedExCup points will tee it up this week at the BMW Championship in the second event of PGA Tour playoffs at Castle Pines Golf Club, just outside of Denver, Colorado.
This is the first time a Tour event will be held at the mile-high Castle Pines since 2006 after it hosted The International for two decades.
This is also the first time in 10 years the BMW Championship will be played in Colorado, after nearby Cherry Hills hosted it in 2014.
With just two events left to crown the 2024 Tour champion, FrontPageBets takes a look at the golfers to watch this week in the BMW Championship.

Don’t look now, but Xander Schauffele is at it again.
This year’s PGA Championship and British Open winner finished T2 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship this past weekend in Memphis, Tenn., carding a final-round 63 to jump up the leaderboard.
Schauffele is No. 2 in the Official World Golf Rankings, behind Scottie Scheffler, who he could conceivably surpass in points before the TOUR Championship postseason finale next week in Atlanta.
Scheffler, who has won six times this season, including the Masters, finished fourth at the St. Jude Championship. Oh, and he also won gold in the Paris Olympics.
Schauffele and Scheffler are far-and-away playing the best golf out of anyone this season, and it most likely will come down to the two of them battling it out at East Lake for the FedEx Cup title.
But there’s something different about Schauffele this season.
Not only has he not missed a cut in more than two years, Schauffele’s worst finish this season was a T54 at Pebble Beach back in February. In his other 18 starts, he’s never finished outside the top 25, including 13 top-10s.
Think about that: Nearly 73% of the time, Schauffele is finishing T10 or better.
While this is the first time the BMW Championship will be played in Colorado, Schauffele has played extremely well in this event, finishing in the top 25 in six out of his seven starts, including three top-10s.
After missing the cut in three of this year’s four majors, the 2023 U.S. Open champion has rebounded well in his last two competitive appearances.
Clark finished T14 at the Olympics and followed that up with a T7 finish in last week’s St. Jude Championship. He capped this past Sunday’s round with a 6-under 64 to get inside the top 10.
Clark currently sits 6th in FedEx Cup points and is the fifth-ranked golfer in the world. This season, he has seven top-10s, including two runner-up finishes.
If Clark can keep the momentum going in the thin air of Colorado this week, he should get another top 10 under his belt.
What better way to earn your first PGA Tour victory than to do it in the FedExCup playoffs and secure a spot in the TOUR Championship?
Fleetwood, ranked 12th in OWGR, is on the bubble heading into the BMW Championship, sitting at 31st in FedExCup points. The top 30 after this week’s tournament advance to the finale next week in Atlanta.
Fleetwood has come close to winning on Tour multiple times, but has never sealed the deal, including winning a silver medal in the Olympics.
But the Englishman is one of the best ball-strikers in the game and has the game to win anywhere.
This season, he has nine top-25 finishes, including three top-10s.
Fleetwood’s best finish at a BMW Championship was a T8 in 2018. He’s never finished outside the top 25 in three starts at this event.
