MISSOULA — The new Explore MSO Pass allows individuals to bypass security and access the concourse at the Missoula Airport. This pass enables people to accompany loved ones to the gate or surprise arriving passengers. Additionally, pass holders can enjoy the bars, restaurants, and scenic views from the airport’s deck. The airport also plans to host events like mimosas on the deck in the future, catering to community feedback and preferences.
Missoula Montana Airport Deputy Director Tim Damrow stated, “It’s just trying to listen to what our community is asking for. A lot of people have traditions we’ve heard. They come to the airport, they used to come to the airport for dinner, even just to watch airplanes.”
To obtain an Explore MSO Pass, visit flymissoula.com and submit an application by 8 p.m. the day before your planned visit. Although pass holders still need to undergo security screening, they are not required to have an airline ticket.
