OKLAHOMA CITY — Longtime rodeo and Professional Bull Riders funnyman Flint Rasmussen will be inducted into the National Rodeo Hall of Fame in November.
The hall announced in a news release Monday this year’s recipients.
Rasmussen, whose hometown is Choteau, retired in 2023 as the PBR’s “exclusive arena entertainer,” a post he had held since 2006.

Rasmussen will be honored in the “Living” category, along with Mack Altizer, Jane Mayo Bondurant, Reg Camarillo, Leon Coffee, Dollie Beutler Riddle and Vickie Beutler Shireman.
Those being honored in the “Deceased” category are Nancy Binford (1921-1998), Thena Mae Farr (1927-1985) and Walt LaRue (1918-2010).
Rasmussen — who according to biographical information in the news release was born Jan. 25, 1968 — grew up in Choteau. He participated in football and track in high school. He was an honors student at Western Montana College and taught school in Havre before he joined the PRCA in 1994 as a rodeo clown.
Rasmussen was an eight-time PRCA Clown of the Year and a seven-time Coors Man in the Can. He was a National Finals Rodeo barrelman eight times, making his first appearance at the NFR in 1998.
Rasmussen, who lives in Billings, has hosted “Outside the Barrel” at the NFR and has a weekly “According to Flint” podcast. He is now a PBR commentator and sideline reporter, the news release noted.
