I have been a Republican for 60 years. I support, contribute to, and will vote for Jon Tester in November.
Jon is a respected senior Senator of the U.S. Senate. The real work of the Senate is accomplished in its many committees. Jon is a member of several of these committees most notably the powerful appropriations committee where he is the chairman of the sub-committee on defense.
No doubt this position enabled the procurement of new Grey Wolf helicopters and new C-130 J aircraft for the Montana Air National Guard. Thus ensuring the stability of the Guard for the long term.
Jon is chairman of the Veterans Affairs committee. He works to improve and enhance the VA benefits for the large community of Montana Veterans. On a personal note in this role, my daughter is battling terminal cancer and is largely supported by the V.A. Jon’s work on this committee is greatly appreciated.

Jon serves on a number of other committees that provide him the platform to influence issues on agriculture, banking, housing, schools, infrastructure, rural hospitals, medical service, and more.
It’s critical that we re-elect Jon this November if we want to defend the Montana that we know and love. Montana cannot afford to lose the seniority of a real Montana Senator by electing a rookie.
