As a long-time Montana resident, I have been following Jon Tester’s political career for decades. I have witnessed his leadership in the state Legislature and have seen the many accomplishments he has achieved throughout his career. He has my support in November to be re-elected to the U.S. Senate.
Tester has always been a strong advocate for Montanans, especially for veterans and those in agriculture. He has tackled important issues in agriculture such as meat packer consolidation, foreign ownership of agricultural land, rural internet connectivity, country of origin labeling, and the right to repair farm equipment.
His dedication to veteran funding and care is also commendable, and his seniority has allowed him to serve as Chair of the Veterans’ Affairs Committee.
Personally, I have experienced Tester’s responsiveness when seeking help with an IRS issue and his assistance in a family’s quest to secure the identification and return of a World War II veteran’s remains. He was able to assist in resolving both matters.
It would be a grave mistake for Montanans to replace such an effective and responsive U.S. Senator. Let’s send him back to the Senate to continue his hard work for the people of Montana.
