I’ve met U.S. Sen. Jon Tester on several occasions since the time he was serving in the state Legislature.
His record of service to Montana has been beyond exceptional. His legislative leadership has always put Montanans first, supporting our veterans, agriculture, education, infrastructure, public health and public lands.
In this most difficult time of rancor and foul play in our country’s politics, we need honest people like Jon in the Senate more than ever. He’s proven over and over with his decency and common sense, that he will work across the aisle for our best interests.
Unlike some folks, such as his inexperienced opponent from Minnesota who would use personal wealth to create a new career in politics, Jon is of humble beginnings as both a farmer and teacher from rural Montana. He won his seat in the Senate and was then reelected through hard work, good politics, and results, not the size of his pocketbook.
