The countdown is on for the 109th Montana Farmer’s Union annual state convention. Our convention will be held at the Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish, Oct. 17–19.
I am particularly looking forward to this year’s convention policy debates and our keynote speaker, Zach Ducheneaux, Administrator for USDA’s Farm Service Agency. The event kicks off with a pre-convention tour on Thursday of area agriculture, then full programming on both Friday and Saturday. Members can easily network with their industry peers and fellow members while enjoying workshops and participating in MFU policy creation and debates. This convention will be a great opportunity for networking, honing communication skills and exploring a new area of our state.
Montana Farmers Union is excited to create space and opportunities to rekindle creative ideas and provide a fresh perspective for our growing membership. Discover more of what the MFU organization has to offer producers and rural communities. Join us in Whitefish — there is no better time than now to get involved and reconnect with Montana’s oldest organization dedicated to advocating for the family farm and ranch.
