Are people or politicians in charge of government?
The Montana Constitution is the people’s voice. It was adopted in 1972 after a vote by the citizens.
Since then, it has been amended 37 times to address important issues and reflect the will of the people.
Today, we face a crucial issue where politicians and party machines have imposed rules on elections, funded by taxpayers, that restrict our freedom to vote for the leaders we choose.
These rules limit our choices in the primary elections, resulting in a small percentage of voters determining our leaders. This system often leads to lack of competition in the general election.

With CI-126 and CI-127, we can have open primaries and majority-winner elections that empower voters and hold politicians accountable to the people of Montana.
In Montana, the citizens have the final say in who governs them. It’s time to vote YES on CI-126 and CI-127 to ensure that voters, not politicians or special interests, are in charge of our government.
Wilson is dedicated to legal education, courts, rule of law
I had the honor of serving over 30 years as a Justice of the Peace in Richland County before retiring in 2016.
Having worked closely with Judge Katherine Bidegaray and Judge Dan Wilson, both candidates for the Montana Supreme Court, I can confidently endorse Judge Dan Wilson for his dedication to legal education, the courts, and the rule of law.
Judge Wilson’s knowledge of the law, his ability to educate fellow judges, and his commitment to justice make him a standout candidate for the Supreme Court.
I believe Judge Dan Wilson will be an asset to the Montana Supreme Court, and I urge others to support him as well.
Vote for Judge Dan Wilson for Supreme Court.

People want candidates to make an extra effort
It’s disappointing that Commissioner Downey did not respond to requirements for a scheduled debate, depriving eastern Montana voters of an opportunity to hear from all candidates.
Citizens expect candidates to make an extra effort to engage with them and present their ideas for representation in Congress.
We encourage candidates to actively participate in debates and engage with constituents to earn their trust and vote.
