Food and farm policy deserves more attention in Montana’s U.S. Senate race, whether you ranch, farm, or eat. These policies matter, and I speak from experience as someone who has dedicated my life to food and agriculture.
Jon Tester, the only working farmer in the Senate, is a crucial advocate for our farmers and ranchers. He fights for a commonsense Farm Bill, impacting crop insurance, conservation, and support for new farmers. The Farm Bill also provides a safety net for Montanans facing food insecurity, including 1 in 6 children who may not have enough to eat today.
Tester has been working to restore competition, fighting corporate consolidation and unfair practices that harm producers and consumers. He recently secured $1.4 million to expand Old Salt, a meat processing outfit run by ranch families creating jobs and supplying Montanans with locally raised beef. Tester also advocates for transparency in food labeling.

Tester’s commitment to Montana producers and consumers is evident. His opponent lacks experience in the complexities of food policy and its impact on our future. Montana needs Tester advocating for its residents. Join me in supporting Tester at the polls.
