Two individuals are being accused of participating in a kidnapping incident earlier this week, during which a man from Billings was carjacked and subjected to terror for several hours.
Micki Collette Young and Isaac Saldana Jr. entered pleas of not guilty on Thursday to charges of aggravated kidnapping by accountability. Both Young and Saldana were part of a group that reportedly held a man against his will at a residence on the North Side, where they robbed him of his clothes, phone, and money. They appeared in Yellowstone County District Court on Thursday through a teleconference from Yellowstone County Detention Facility.
On June 18, a Billings police officer spoke with a man at a casino who reported that he’d met with Young the previous night, according to a charging affidavit filed in court. He said Young had texted him, asking to meet near Lillis Park. When he reached the park and got out of his vehicle, the victim said three men got out of a nearby sedan. Two of them were wearing masks.

The three men beat the victim, court documents said, and forced him back into his car. One of the suspects allegedly got behind the wheel and drove the car to Young’s home in the North Side.
Once inside Young’s house, the three alleged kidnappers stripped the man of his money and clothes, then beat him over a period of several hours, charging document said. The victim told police that some of the men were armed with handguns and used them to pistol-whip him. At one point, he said Young smashed a glass mug against his head.
Later that morning, one of the three suspects who went by the name “G-Raff” ordered the man to drive him, Young, and another woman to a casino. When they arrived, G-Raff allegedly ordered the victim to go inside and buy alcohol. Once inside the casino, he told an employee that he’d been kidnapped, and the employee called police, according to charging documents.
According to court documents, after the man reported the incident to the police, an officer visited Young’s residence on the 700 block of North 23rd Street. While in the area, the officer encountered Saldana, who matched the description of one of the men involved in the kidnapping. Subsequently, the police spoke with Young, who eventually requested legal representation, as per the charging documents.
Following the issuance of a search warrant for Young’s home, investigators reportedly discovered the victim’s clothing, along with bloody rags and blankets, a broken glass mug, suspected methamphetamine, two masks, and latex gloves. Furthermore, a notebook containing the victim’s information written in it was found, as stated in the court documents.
Young, aged 37, is facing charges for a total of four offenses: aggravated kidnapping by accountability, assault with a weapon, criminal possession of dangerous drugs, and theft. On the other hand, Saldana is confronted with an additional charge of robbery by accountability. During their arraignment hearing on Thursday, Yellowstone County District Judge Rod Souza set their bail at $50,000. If they make bail, Souza also mandated that they be monitored by GPS until the resolution of their cases.
Earlier this year, a woman from Billings confessed to carjacking a man at gunpoint after meeting online. Talena Boyiddle arranged for the man to pick her up so they could spend the night together. Upon the man’s arrival in his sedan, Boyiddle, along with two men, entered the car. Boyiddle then brandished a gun, prompting the man to flee.
If found guilty of aggravated kidnapping by accountability, Young and Saldana could face a minimum prison sentence of two years. At the time of her arrest on June 18, Young was on conditional release from custody after previously being convicted for robbery, theft, and drug possession.
