It seems like the Swifties have some royal competition now.
Prince William marked his 42nd birthday this weekend by taking his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to see Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” show in London. William posted a picture of them taking a selfie on social media, thanking Swift “for a wonderful evening.”

Swift also shared a selfie from the meet-and-greet, including her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce. She wished Prince William a happy birthday, saying “London shows are off to a splendid start.”

The show on Friday night was the first of three that Swift will perform at London’s Wembley Stadium as part of the European leg of her “Eras Tour.” In a video shared on social media, Prince William was seen dancing and singing along to Swift’s “Shake It Off,” with one user commenting: “That’s our future King of England and I’m totally here for it.”
Kate Middleton, Prince William’s wife, did not attend the show as she likely stayed home with their son, Prince Louis, who is 6 years old. The princess has been out of the public eye since revealing her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
Last week marked Princess Kate’s return to public view after months, as she joined other members of the royal family at Buckingham Palace for King Charles III’s birthday celebration.
