This latest series in History’s That Built franchise celebrates the innovators, trailblazers and risk-takers who pushed boundaries and redefined what it means to be a performer, The series premiere, “Daredevil Duo,” begins in 1965, when a struggling motorcycle salesman named Robert Craig Knievel, desperate to juice sales at his small-town dealership, comes up with a dangerous publicity stunt that not only launches him into a new career as “Evel Knievel” but also changes entertainment forever. Then, a generation later, a young boy who grew up idolizing this motorcycle daredevil will take his own dangerous path to television and film success.
