Dozens of the late Eric Feaver’s friends, family and colleagues gathered Monday morning to dedicate a Mount Helena trail in honor of the Helena city commissioner and longtime labor leader.
The Eric Feaver trail, formerly known as the Mike Cormier trail, is steep access from LeGrande Cannon Boulevard to the Daisy Hill area of Mount Helena as well as the Ambrose and Prairie trails.
During the ceremony, Mayor Wilmot Collins and Ellen Feaver, wife of Eric, spoke about his work for Montana and his love of trails.
After the spoken words a ribbon was cut at the trailhead.
