MISSOULA — The Montana football team kicked off its 2025 recruiting class in a major way last week.
The Grizzlies garnered five commitments over three days from high school seniors. Four of the five commits are 3-star recruits from out of state and the other one is a standout multi-sport athlete from Montana.
Julius Gillick started the commitment blitz. He was recruited by UM as a running back and has also played defensive end at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California, after he moved from Seattle.
He’s rated as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports and is ranked as the No. 150 running back recruit in the nation for the 2025 class. He picked Montana over an offer from fellow Big Sky team Idaho State.
Brady Beaner also gave his commitment to UM. He was recruited as a safety and an athlete coming out of Anacortes High School in Anacortes, Washington.
