The World Museum of Mining is excited to present “Butte the Bold,” a unique and volunteer-driven living history play that showcases the fascinating history of Butte. The play will take place at the Covellite Theatre, located at 215 W. Broadway, on July 11 and 18.
“Butte the Bold” delves into the lesser-known yet significant characters and events from Butte’s past, narrated by the iconic miner and storyteller, Matty Kiely, played by Butte’s very own John Emeigh. Kiely guides the audience through each act, bringing to life some of Butte’s most intriguing tales.
The doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $25, and all proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the World Museum of Mining’s mission to preserve the mining history and cultural heritage of Butte.
