HELENA — Forty-nine Montanans — 11 competing in more than one event —are headed for the Cinch National High School Rodeo Finals, which start Sunday at the Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
The official draw will be posted Saturday.
The top four finishers in each event at the Montana State High School Rodeo Finals in Kalispell last month qualified for nationals.
The Cowboy Channel will be streaming the event, which runs through July 20. Results will be at the NHSRA website.
Competing in more than one event:
• William Barnett, Absarokee, bareback riding and trap shoot.
• Ella Begger, Townsend, breakaway and pole bending.
• Mitch Detton, Great Falls, team roping, steer wrestling and tie-down roping.
