GREAT FALLS — The Billings Scarlets dominated both games in a doubleheader at Great Falls on Thursday, winning 14-4 and 10-6 to reach double-digit scores in both victories.
In Game 1, the Scarlets secured a mercy-rule victory in six innings, taking an early lead with three runs in the top of the first inning and maintaining control throughout the game.
Billings tallied 14 hits, with Nathan McDonald leading the game with three hits and three RBIs. Cody Collis and Brady Randall each contributed two RBIs in support. Starter Paxton Prill pitched the entire game, striking out nine batters and allowing only six hits.
In the second game, the Scarlets battled Great Falls for all seven innings. Despite a late rally attempt by Great Falls in the seventh inning, Billings had secured a comfortable lead with runs in each of the first five innings.

Nolan Berkram led the Scarlets in the second game with three RBIs, while Hunter Doyle added two of his own. Zach Stewart pitched for six innings, striking out seven, while Jaxon Meyer closed the game in the seventh inning with two strikeouts.
The Scarlets will next play against Missoula in a home doubleheader at Dehler Park on Saturday, with games scheduled to start at 1 and 3 p.m.
