Carlos Alcaraz emerged victorious over Novak Djokovic with a score of 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (4) in the Wimbledon men’s final on Sunday, securing his fourth Grand Slam title at just 21 years old.
This match was a rematch of last year’s championship on the grass courts of the All England Club, where Alcaraz had also defeated Djokovic in a five-set thriller.
Despite a stumble when serving for the win at 5-4 in the third set, Alcaraz was able to regain his composure and claim the victory in front of a Centre Court crowd that included Kate, the Princess of Wales.
With this win, Alcaraz secured his second major title in a row following his triumph at the French Open last month.

Having already claimed his first Slam title at the 2022 U.S. Open as a teenager, Alcaraz now holds the record for the most Grand Slam trophies won before turning 22.
With a perfect record of 4-0 in major finals, Alcaraz showcased his dominance on the court.
On the other hand, Djokovic, at 37 years old and with a gray knee sleeve due to recent surgery, fell short in his quest for an eighth Wimbledon title and a record-breaking 25th major title overall.
Despite his recent knee injury and surgery, Djokovic was unable to perform at his best on Sunday, with Alcaraz playing a significant role in his defeat.
