According to a report from the Los Angeles Daily News, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested late Friday night in Los Angeles on suspicion of driving under the influence.
He was found asleep at the wheel of his vehicle, which was blocking the primary freeway offramp to Los Angeles International Airport, just after 11 p.m. California Highway Patrol officers arrested him following a DUI investigation half an hour later. He was released from custody shortly after 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
The Vikings released a statement saying, “We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident.” Addison, who was selected 23rd overall in 2023, had a successful rookie season with 70 passes for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns, earning a spot on the NFL All-Rookie team.
Last July, before his rookie season, Addison was cited in Minnesota for speeding and reckless driving after being caught going 140 mph.
Additionally, just eight days ago, Vikings rookie Khyree Jackson was one of three people killed in a car crash in Maryland at the age of 24.” -Field Level Media
