The Butte Miners wrapped up their South A conference regular season on Monday, splitting a doubleheader with the Bozeman Bucks.
Butte (23-10, 15-5 South A) secured the conference title and will be the top seed in the district tournament starting on July 25 in Belgrade.
In the first game on Monday, the Miners won 12-2 after six innings. This marked the third consecutive complete game by a Butte pitcher.
Ethan Cunningham struck out nine Bozeman batters, allowing four hits and two unearned runs in the win. He threw 102 pitches. Gavin Trudegon and Lucas Harris-Huerta also pitched complete games in a recent doubleheader against the Helena Reps.
Cunningham, Tocher Lee, and Anthony Knott all had multi-RBI performances. Knott drove in three runs with two hits, including a double.

Quinn Cox, Matthew Donaldson, and Harris-Huerta each drove in one run for Butte. The Miners out-hit Bozeman 11-4.
The Bucks rebounded in the second game, defeating the Miners 17-3.
Butte used four pitchers in the loss, with Jaxon Williamson starting and giving up six earned runs in 2.1 innings. Cox, Donaldson, and Will Stepan also took the mound.
The Miners have three non-conference doubleheaders scheduled this week, starting with a game against the Mission Valley Mariners on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
