In the aftermath of the RNC and the attempt on Donald Trump’s life, former White House doctor turned Congressman, Rep. Ronny Jackson, has provided an update on Trump’s condition.
In a letter addressed to the concerned citizens of the United States, Rep. Jackson revealed that he has been with Trump since the assassination attempt. Trump quickly returned to his home in Bedminster, N.J. after the incident at the Pennsylvania rally.
According to the statement, “The bullet narrowly missed entering his head, grazing the top of his right ear. The wound was 2 cm wide and bled significantly, followed by swelling of the upper ear.”
The assessment continued, “The swelling has subsided, and the wound is starting to heal properly. Due to the nature of the wound, no stitches were needed, but there is still intermittent bleeding that requires a dressing.”
Rep. Jackson mentioned that Trump initially received treatment at a hospital in Pennsylvania before returning to Bedminster, where they met. Although Rep. Jackson is not Trump’s primary physician, he will be with Trump during his rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Trump shared the letter from Rep. Jackson on his Truth Social platform. Meanwhile, Eric Trump criticized the Secret Service for the security failure at the rally, expressing concern over the agency’s performance.
