MONTANA – Isolated thunderstorms are scattered across central Montana and the eastern plains this afternoon bringing gusts to 30 mph, rain showers, and lightning strikes. These storms are expected to diminish this evening.
Excessive heat remains at the forefront of western Montana weather with very dry, hazy conditions. Our Weather Alert remains in place through the start of the week.
Areas like Missoula and Kalispell are under Excessive Heat Advisories with 100+ degree days in the forecast, and areas further west under Warnings through Tuesday night.
