One of the things I love most about Helena is how our community unites in good times and bad.
From the July 4th celebration at Centennial Park to volunteers helping to clean up sandbags after the unprecedented flooding in the Helena valley, our community comes together to celebrate and help one another.
On Aug. 17 from 2 to 8 p.m., a free community festival and silent auction fundraiser will be held at Reeder’s Alley to help Helena native Erin McGowan beat cancer.
Helena businesses have generously sponsored the event, and have donated silent auction items. The event will also feature live music, raffles, food trucks, and family friendly entertainment.
