Vice President Kamala Harris is planning to embark on a nationwide tour with her yet-to-be-announced running mate next week.
A reliable source has informed Scripps News that the duo will kick off their tour in Philadelphia on Tuesday.
Speculation has been rife that the Philadelphia stop hints at Harris selecting Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro as her running mate. However, Scripps News has been informed that Harris has not yet made a decision on her VP pick to challenge former President Donald Trump and his VP selection JD Vance.

Reportedly, Shapiro, along with Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, are among the contenders on the shortlist for the Democratic vice presidential nomination.
Whoever Harris chooses, it will be a hectic week ahead. Following Philadelphia, the duo is scheduled to campaign in Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada.
Harris is edging closer to becoming the official Democratic presidential nominee. From Thursday, the party will convene a virtual roll call to commence the nomination process for Harris. With the majority of pledged and automatic delegates already in her corner, the roll call is more of a formality.
