Yvan Kemajou, a defensive lineman from Paint Branch High School in Burtonsville, Md., committed to Penn State on Wednesday. He is ranked as a four-star prospect by Rivals in the Class of 2025. Kemajou visited head coach James Franklin’s program last weekend after an official visit in May. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 230 pounds, he also made official visits to Maryland, Rutgers, and Virginia Tech, his other top choices. The 247Sports composite ranks Kemajou as a three-star recruit, the No. 435 player and No. 49 defensive lineman in the nation, as well as the No. 12 player in Maryland. In his junior season at Paint Branch, he recorded 46 tackles and 6 1/2 sacks. Kemajou holds a 4.7 grade-point average and plans to major in mechanical engineering in college. He shared, “I already knew how great Penn State football was, and when I visited, they demonstrated their commitment to academics. They assured me that I could excel in both aspects while there.” Kemajou expressed appreciation for the support and resources provided by Penn State during the recruiting process. –Field Level Media
