Rodgers explained, “We’re just passionately talking about the details of a situation that might not have to do with either of us.” He emphasized the importance of ironing out the details on the field, despite any disagreements. Wilson, the Jets’ first-round draft pick in 2022, downplayed the incident, saying it was beneficial for his growth as a player. He acknowledged Rodgers’ guidance in improving his performance. Wilson had a successful rookie season with over 1,000 receiving yards and looks to continue his progress in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Rodgers, who suffered an Achilles injury last season, will not participate in any preseason games according to Jets coach Robert Saleh.
