Summer Learning Program: Olympics Watch Party
Join us at the library on Aug. 5, 6, and 7 for an Olympics Watch Party. We will be live-streaming the Olympic Games in Paris for three nights straight. The library will provide drinks, themed snacks, fun facts, books about the Olympics, and of course, a livestream of the Olympic Games as you delve into the adventure of Olympic sports.
Tiny Tales @ EmPower Place
Tiny Tales is back at EmPower Place! This program uses sounds, rhythms, and movement to help your child learn to read. Join us every Tuesday, with the next session scheduled for Aug. 6 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the conference room on the 2nd floor of EmPower Place at 1720 Wyoming Street in Missoula.

MakerSpace Mending and Sewing
Learn how to mend your damaged clothing at the MakerSpace during the mending and sewing walk-in hours every Wednesday, with the next session on Aug. 7 from 2 to 5:30 p.m. on Level One of the library.
Game On! @ MPL
Engage in some gaming fun at MPL with Switch games and controllers available every Thursday from 2:30-5:30 on Level Two. The next Game On! session is on Aug. 8 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Imaginarium on Level Two, intended for children/youth 16 and under.
Summer Learning Program Hush Hour Missoula
Unwind with an hour of silent reading at Hush Hour Missoula and KFGM on Aug. 8 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Enjoy live tunes, drinks, and beautiful views from the Level Four balcony while getting lost in a good book.
Tiny Tales in the Park
This summer, join us for Tiny Tales in the park at Westside Park every Friday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on the Sherwood side of the park. Kids ages 0-3 can enjoy songs, rhymes, and movements. In case of inclement weather, Tiny Tales will be held in the Lowell School gym or cafeteria.
Yarns @ MPL
Come to the Blackfoot Board Room every Friday with your knitting or crocheting project for some crafty fun from noon to 2 p.m. The next meeting is on Aug. 9 on Level Four.
English as a Second Language Class
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Missoula Public Library offer a free English as a Second Language class on Aug. 10 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Ellingson Room on Level Three. This class is held every other Saturday.
Resource Access Day at Missoula Public Library
Join us for Resource Access Day (RAD) every second Thursday of the month from noon to 3 p.m. at the Missoula Public Library. RAD provides free resources including legal support, housing and benefits assistance, health care, and more. All services are offered on a drop-in basis with lunch provided. The first RAD will be on Aug. 8 outside on Main Street.
