This coming November, Montanans will make important election choices that will have a profound impact on our shared future. On Election Day, Nov. 5, we have the opportunity to choose between very different paths for our cherished Treasure State.
One path follows the failed policies of the Biden-Harris years which have resulted in open borders, soaring grocery prices, exploding energy prices, higher interest rates, and a lack of affordable housing. The reality is that “Bidenomics” is costing the average Montana household an estimated $11,400.00 more a year to live.
The better path gets runaway spending under control, leaves more money in the bank accounts of Montana’s families, restores respect for the nation’s borders and the rule of law, and keeps Montana affordable, particularly for those young folks we are just starting out in life. The latter course is the Republican party’s approach. It is also the path I support as the Republican nominee for Montana state auditor.

As a fourth-generation Montanan, I know firsthand the high quality of life afforded here in Big Sky Country — whether it is our people, our public land, our lengthy history of natural resources development, or our shared live and let live culture. Even as a young man growing up in Dillon, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to protecting Montana’s future. That’s why I became a land use and business attorney. And that is why I have dedicated my professional career to protecting working men and women.
As a small business owner, I have learned that government can be either a protector of the people’s interests or a detriment to their prosperity. As the current President of the Montana PSC, I know that $6.5 trillion in new federal spending over the last three years is a detriment to the economic future of young Montanans.
The path of economic freedom and true free-market competition is the clear route to economic growth and prosperity. As Auditor, I will advance policies that make life more affordable by ensuring that insurance coverage is more accessible and more affordable for all. I also plan to root out and prosecute fraudsters who prey on our vulnerable seniors, and I will maximize funding for Montana’s public schools as a member of the State Land Board.
My colleague Troy Downing leaves the state auditor’s office on sound footing. I’m committed to building on that legacy of success, and I humbly ask for your vote in November so that, together, we lay a path for the betterment of all Montanans.
