BILLINGS — Tuesday brings another day of warm temperatures and the possibility of strong to severe storms in the afternoon and evening. Following that, there will be a daily chance of showers and storms, with cooler than normal temperatures.
Morning temperatures will range from the mid-40s to mid-50s, with Tuesday afternoon highs reaching the 80s to mid-90s. Clouds will increase in the afternoon, creating a potential for strong to severe storms in certain areas.
Similar to Sunday’s weather, the main threat will be gusty winds near thunderstorms, along with pockets of heavy rain.
As a result of a Canadian cold front, temperatures will start to decrease. Wednesday will see temperatures mainly in the 70s, with Thursday highs ranging from the 60s to low 70s.
Temperatures will remain relatively stable heading into the weekend, with afternoon readings consistently in the upper 70s to 80s. With more moisture entering the atmosphere, there will be a daily chance of showers or thunderstorms popping up.
