Felony offense
Leeroy O. Harrington, 34, of Butte was apprehended on Wednesday for committing felony strangulation on a partner or family member.
Upon police arrival near Paxson and Elizabeth Warren avenues, a woman was observed with blood coming from her mouth. Harrington is accused of striking the woman multiple times and then throwing her to the ground.
Sleeping on steps
Dustin F. Henry-Walker, 41, from Clearwater, Florida, was found asleep on the steps outside a building on Hamilton Street on Monday morning.
His backpack, a suspected fentanyl pill, and burnt foil were found nearby. Henry-Walker was taken into custody for possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia. Additionally, he had an outstanding arrest warrant.

At the jail, Henry-Walker was found in possession of suspected drugs, a bag of crystal powder, and prescription medication not belonging to him.
Jail booking
64-year-old Curtis Jones from Butte was booked into jail at 2:30 p.m. on Monday for violating his release conditions.
Truck stolen
A 2013 Ford F-150 parked in the 2600 block of Goodwin Street was reported stolen early Monday evening. It was later recovered in Bozeman.
Arrest warrants
—Gonzalo J. Aguilar, 39, of Butte, was spotted walking near Harrison and McKinley avenues on Wednesday, leading to his arrest for a parole violation warrant.
—Bianca L. Wilson, 44, of Butte, was taken into custody on Wednesday due to a warrant for probation violation.
—Blaise S. Nuthak, 30, of Butte, was arrested with the assistance of Butte police and U.S. marshals for two outstanding warrants, one local and one not.
Erratic driver
Reports came in on Wednesday afternoon about an erratic driver near Marcia Street and Whitman Avenue. The driver, identified as Nicole M. Garcia, 45, of Butte, was arrested for driving under the influence, criminal endangerment, and driving with a suspended license after nearly hitting parked cars.
Window shattered
It was reported on Wednesday morning that a black Chevy pickup in the 1600 block of C Street had its passenger-side window shattered after being hit by an object.
Under investigation
On Wednesday around 12:15 p.m., an unidentified man damaged lights on the walkway at Town Pump on Montana Street. The case is currently under investigation.
Pickup vandalized
A 2008 Ford pickup parked at 3549 Harrison Ave. was discovered with a shattered windshield, headlights, passenger side window, and a bent fender around 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
Theft of bike
A boy had his bike stolen from Walmart’s northside where he parked it while shopping around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
