Pittsburgh Steelers rookie offensive tackle Troy Fautanu suffered a knee injury during the team’s preseason game against the Houston Texans on Friday. Fautanu, the 20th overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Washington, was seen wearing a brace around his left knee after the Steelers’ 20-12 loss. Coach Mike Tomlin informed reporters that more information on the severity of the injury will be available on Sunday once the team is back to practice. Fautanu, 23, was a part of the All-Pac-12 Conference First Team in 2023, starting in all 15 games at left tackle. He was also the recipient of the Morris Trophy as the top offensive lineman in the league. –Field Level Media
