BUTTE — The Frontier Conference is well-represented in the NAIA women’s volleyball coaches’ Top 25 preseason poll.
Montana Western, the reigning Frontier Conference tournament champions, are the top-ranked team in the league at No. 15.
Montana Tech has won back-to-back conference regular season titles and came in at No. 21 in the rankings. Providence is ranked No. 23, while Rocky Mountain missed out on the rankings but received votes.
All six Frontier teams open their 2024 campaigns this weekend with nonconference action. Tech is hosting the Big Sky Volleyball Challenge and will welcome Carroll, MSU-Northern, Providence and Rocky, as well as eight teams from across the country.
Northern, Providence and Tech all begin play on Thursday, while Carroll will play its first match on Friday.

Western will be at the College of Idaho preseason tournament and will have four matches over the course of Friday and Saturday.
