DoorDash announces the launch of its inaugural streaming benefit for DashPass members. The company, known for its popular delivery app, revealed this week that DashPass subscribers can now enjoy access to Max’s “With Ads” tier service.
This collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, the streaming platform’s owner, will provide users with a vast library of acclaimed TV content from top brands including HBO, Warner Bros., A24, Adult Swim, ID, and the DC Universe. Access to the streaming service was expected to be available to users by Tuesday, as stated by the company.

Currently, Max streaming customers pay $9.99 per month for the ad-supported tier or opt for an annual subscription at $99.99, which presents a 16% discount compared to the monthly plan. For an ad-free experience, the next tier costs $16.00 per month.
DoorDash values its premium offerings at approximately $240 per year, factoring in the discount on delivery fees, while costing customers only $96 annually.

For those who prefer ad-free Max streaming through DoorDash, an additional $10.99 per month will apply.
Various delivery apps offer different benefits, as highlighted by CNET last year, depending on users’ frequency of platform usage for different orders, including groceries and restaurant deliveries.
Some platforms extend member-tier advantages through other memberships, such as Amazon Prime, granting Grubhub users access to its premium tier “Grubhub+” to save on delivery fees.
