Winds are gentle today, enhancing the warmth of the sun and heat. Wind gusts may pick up this evening in the eastern plains.Â

By dinner time tomorrow night, central Montana areas such as Billings, Lewistown, and Great Falls may experience scattered thunderstorms around 6:30 pm, bringing brief rain showers and the possibility of lightning.
On Monday, stronger, wider thunderstorm bands are expected for central Montana and the eastern plains.
Tonight, temperatures will drop to mild levels in the 50’s and 60’s before climbing back to the 80’s (west) and 90’s (east) tomorrow. Wind gusts tonight in the eastern plains could reach 30 mph.
The next 7 days will feature temperatures in the 80’s and 90’s across the state, with warmer conditions in places like Billings and Glasgow. The week ahead is forecasted to be mostly dry with clear to partly cloudy skies, except for thunderstorms on Monday.
