Sony Pictures Entertainment CEO Tony Vinciquerra has commended Blake Lively for her work in raising awareness about domestic violence through her latest film “It Ends With Us.”
Adapted from Colleen Hoover’s novel of the same name, the movie features the 36-year-old actress as a young woman who becomes entangled in a toxic relationship with a deceptive man (played by Justin Baldoni).
Vinciquerra expressed his admiration for the efforts put in by Blake, Colleen, and other women involved in the project, emphasizing their dedication to handling such a crucial subject matter sensitively.
Despite initial success, “It Ends With Us” has encountered challenges amid reports of discord between the cast and Baldoni. The 40-year-old actor, who not only starred in the film but also directed it, allegedly had disagreements with Lively and Hoover when different versions of the movie surfaced after his co-star requested an alternative edit.
