The WNBA and Delta Airlines have formed a multiyear partnership to continue the league’s charter flight program following a successful first year.
After persistent efforts, the league joined forces with Delta for its inaugural charter flight program for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, allocating approximately $50 million from the commission for this purpose.
The charter flight program will now transport all 12 of the league’s teams during the regular season and playoffs under a multiyear agreement, as indicated in the announcement.
