Coco Gauff is set to be the next champion athlete to grace the iconic Wheaties cereal box.
Just ahead of the U.S. Open tournament, General Mills announced the release of a limited-edition box featuring Gauff.
Gauff made history last year by becoming the youngest American to win the US Open Tennis Championships since Serena Williams in 1999. She currently holds the second rank in the world for women’s singles, has won seven Women’s Tennis Association singles titles, and was the youngest to be named in TIME’s 2024 Women of the Year list.
Recently, she also became the youngest flag-bearer for Team USA at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Gauff will be joining tennis legend Billie Jean King, who was also featured on a Wheaties box, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center during U.S. Open Fan Week to accept the honor. The two will share their stories of activism and sports experiences.
Wheaties officials stated, “A vocal activist and a true champion both on and off the court, Gauff has actively fought against social and racial inequalities while also working to make tennis more accessible for children in disadvantaged areas.”
The limited-edition Wheaties box featuring Coco Gauff will be available at major retailers starting this month for $6.19.
