Being a long-time resident of Montana, I have been closely following Jon Tester’s political journey for many years. I witnessed his leadership in the state legislature and have seen the significant accomplishments he has achieved throughout his career. That’s why he will have my vote in November to represent us in the U.S. Senate once again.
Tester has always been a strong advocate for the people of Montana, particularly for veterans and those in the agriculture industry. He has taken on various important issues in agriculture such as meat packer consolidation, foreign ownership of ag land, rural internet connectivity, country of origin labeling, and the right to repair farm equipment. Additionally, he has made veteran funding and care a top priority and his seniority has helped him become the Chair of the Veterans’ Affairs Committee.
Personally, I have experienced Tester’s responsiveness when I approached him about an IRS issue and when seeking help for a family trying to repatriate the remains of a World War II veteran. His assistance was crucial in resolving both matters successfully.
It would be a grave error for Montanans to replace such an effective and responsive U.S. Senator. Let’s reelect him to the Senate so he can continue his dedicated work for the people of Montana.
