LONDON – Syngenta Group has launched a new tool called Cropwise AI at the World Agritech Innovation Summit. This system aids agronomic advisors and growers in decision-making processes using machine learning technology.
Cropwise AI utilizes over 20 years of data, such as weather, soil, and crop growth information. This combination helps provide tailored seed recommendations using predictive algorithms, forecasts crop growth and potential risks with both real-time and historical data, and offers site-specific agriculture insights.
These features aim to optimize input application, reduce waste, and maximize crop yields, allowing growers to make informed decisions for better efficiency and sustainability. Key future upgrades promise to include advanced disease detection and enhanced sustainability analytics.
Currently, Cropwise AI is available in the United States and Brazil, with plans to expand to Europe soon.
