Katherine Bidegaray and Jeremiah Lynch are the only truly nonpartisan candidates for the Montana Supreme Court, putting justice above politics. As a father, ranching businessman, and fourth generation Montanan, I’ve been before our current stalwart State Supreme Court several times.
Judge Katherine Bidegaray, hmmm. Heavy hitters right and left asked me to get involved in politics. Investigating Katherine, I first asked a prominent Republican attorney; they highly endorse her. Then hard-hitting Democrats, same thing: praise. She’s universally loved and respected after 38 years working in Montana’s diverse legal landscape — estate planning, agriculture, administrative, and family law. She’s also a strong advocate for the public lands and education that hold our future.
In her words, “I am running for Montana Supreme Court because we need a Justice that will keep politics out of our courtrooms. That’s exactly what I’ve done for Montana.”

Judge Jeremiah Lynch, a 28 year Judge, 13 year Federal Magistrate, has integrity, and is an independent bugger, navigating tough legal challenges with impartiality. Growing up with Butte backbone, Lynch breathes Montana values. He’s fighting to protect the greatest bi-partisan Constitution in America — Montana’s. He’s upfront, fair, hard-hitting — I respect and admire him.
His statement, “I have only one purpose: to protect the 1972 Montana State Constitution,” shows his commitment to safeguard Montana’s legal traditions without bowing to partisanship.
Bidegaray and Lynch represent a judicial philosophy based on nonpartisan fairness. They’re the candidates we can trust most to uphold Montana’s Constitution.
