Jonathan Tucker recently became a hero in his Los Angeles neighborhood when he rescued his neighbors during a home invasion on Sunday evening, June 2.
According to a report from TMZ, Tucker called 911 around 6:20 p.m. after noticing a suspicious man going around the neighborhood and banging on doors. When Tucker went outside, the man was no longer visible, but his neighbor’s front door was wide open.
Upon realizing that the intruder had entered the house, Tucker quickly escorted the mother and her children to safety. The family was unaware of the intruder’s presence until Tucker intervened and led them to a safer location until the police arrived.
Following the incident, the intruder fled but was later apprehended by the police and placed on a 5150 hold for psychiatric evaluation.
In an interview with Los Angeles magazine, Tucker praised the LAPD for their quick response and bravery.
Known for his roles in various film and TV projects, Tucker is also a loving husband to Tara Ahamed, with whom he shares twins since their marriage in June 2012.
