WILMINGTON, Del. – Hunter Biden was found guilty of all three felony charges related to his purchase of a revolver in 2018. Prosecutors argued that he lied on a mandatory gun-purchase form, stating he was not illegally using or addicted to drugs.
Jurors convicted Hunter Biden of lying to a federally licensed gun dealer, making a false claim on the application by denying drug use, and illegally possessing the gun for 11 days. The jury in Wilmington, Delaware, deliberated for about three hours over two days.
Hunter Biden showed little emotion as the verdict was read. Afterward, he hugged his attorneys, smiled, and kissed his wife. First lady Jill Biden arrived at the courthouse after the verdict was delivered.
